Andalucía drought restrictions are likely to increase due to lack of rain in the region

After the month of November, where not a drop of water has fallen in the capital, the sky has become cloudy and the rains have arrived. Scattered shows have been reported throughout the province today, Friday, December 1.

According to Jesús Riesco, director of the Malaga state weather agency Aemet in, the front that has brought these rains will leave a cold mass as it passes, resulting in lower temperatures and intense winds,

The last day on which the Malaga Meteorological Centre recorded rain at Malaga Airport was last October 31 when there were two litres per square meter of precipitation. Since then, that is, from November 1 to November 30, no rain has been recorded in the area until today.

In this sense, it should be noted that this situation since 1942 has only occurred on three more occasions. The first time that no rain was recorded in November was in 1948, then in 1950 it happened again and it was not until 1981 that it occurred for the third time.
