The mayor of Festivals and Traditions, Yolanda Peña, has presented a first-class event in Benalmádena with the projection of a Christmas Videomapping, scheduled to start this Sunday, December 17, on the façade of the Social Welfare building, in the central Plaza Adolfo Suárez (Pueblosol), in the heart of Arroyo de la Miel, until January 4.
With two screenings each day, the first starting at 6:30 p.m. and the second scheduled for 8:00 p.m., the mayor highlighted that this is a “pioneering” initiative for the Costa del Sol where “a story of Christmas touring the main icons and squares of our city”, a projection for all ages that will accompany the battery of great activities scheduled for these dates throughout the municipality.
“I want to thank all the people of Benalmádena for their massive participation in all the events that the different City Council delegations are promoting during this Christmas,” said the councillor.
“It is a pride to see our streets and squares full of life and excitement during these holidays,” he added, and then thanked “all the congratulations we are receiving from our neighbour’s for the great Christmas lighting this year, especially from our neighbour’s of the coast, since finally the city shines from end to end, thus fulfilling a commitment from our mayor, Juan Antonio Lara.”
