India Martínez and Niña Pastori will be in concert this weekend at the Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium in Torremolinos

In addition, the municipality will have Christmas activities for the enjoyment of neighbours and visitors, such as the Municipal Nativity Scene, the exhibition of 19th century nativity scenes or the Santa Claus Village.

Friday December 8

The most flamenco rhythms come to the municipal auditorium with the help of Niña Pastori. The singer will offer a concert as part of her ‘Camino’ tour, on December 8 at 9:30 p.m.

A concert with new songs from his album ‘Camino’, an event worthy of his figure, who has already completed 25 years of artistic career.

Tickets for her concert can be purchased at https://www.elcorteingles.es/entradas/convertirs/entradas-nina-pastori-torremolinos/?

Saturday December 9

Next December 9 at 12:00 p.m., the Battery Park hosts the ‘Nutcracker’ family concert.

In the first part, a small concert will be offered by Young Musicians from the Experimental Center for Musical Studies, CEEM, and in the second part, ‘Nutcracker’ will be performed, stories with narration and music from the famous ballet by the CEEM Chamber Orchestra under directed by Ara Vartanian.

Since the original Nutcracker ballet by P. Tchaykovski is too long to hold the attention of children, this version has been created which, with a duration of 45-50 minutes, maintains all the most notable parts and the literary content of the story, but making it lighter and more understandable for children.

In the Orchestra’s repertoire there are two other story-ballets by Tchaykovski, ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’, as well as stories and ballets by other composers.

To continue with the educational and didactic line of the event, the first part includes very popular musical pieces by soloists, between 6 and 10 years old, CEEM students with a high level. This small concert will last about 15-20 minutes and the ‘Vertanian Symphony Orchestra’ will perform.

Sunday December 10

On December 10 at 12:00, the Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium will host the performance of the play ‘Tierra Mía’, included in the Andalusian Network of Theaters and within the Torremolinos Theater Series.

The ticket costs 3 euros and can be purchased at https://www.lacocheraentradas.com/ .

Two lands. Two people. Two worlds. Two realities. A friendship. ‘Tierra mia’ is the story of two people who live in two parallel worlds that are totally different and, at the same time, absolutely similar. One of them resides in a village surrounded by a forest, while the other lives just below, in the bowels of Deep Earth. Between them they build a beautiful friendship in which their differences blur and their similarities come closer, thus creating a new reality, where elements from both cultures are taken. A passionate comedy in which two actors talk to us about the human condition and how the characteristics that unite us are stronger than those that separate us.
